Hoofers Outing Club E-mail Lists

The Hoofer Outing Club e-mail listserver provides you with a convenient method to send e-mail to the hundreds of other club members without the need to continually update your e-mail addressbook, or even know individuals' e-mail addresses. It is an automated system, so you can subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your options any time you wish.

Outing-announce

The mailing list for Outing Club trip and activity announcements.

Go to the Outing-announce mailing list page to subscribe or view the list archive

Alternately, send a message with the subject "subscribe" (check spelling!) to outing-announce-request@hooferouting.org You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to confirm your subscription request. Once you confirm, you'll receive a welcome message with instructions on using the mailing list, and a password. Please save this password, as you'll need it to unsubscribe from the list. (If you do lose your password, don't fret! The listserver sends out monthly reminders.)

Notes:

  • No replies to the list, please! Announcements only.
  • Plan ahead. Last-minute postings won't reach all recipients on time.
  • Messages should have 4 recipients at most; Bcc: to the list will not work.

Boaters
