Sea Kayaking

Learn how to sea kayak with the Hoofers Outing Club. The Outing Club offers a wide variety of day and overnight sea kayaking trips. If you don't want to invest in expensive kayaking equipment, the Outing Club maintains a fleet of sea kayaks that are free for use on any offical club trip.

Trips frequently go out to the Wisconsin River, Upper Dells, Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and far off locations like the Gulf of Mexico or Gulf of Saint Laurence. Or go cruising on Lake Mendota. Any club member with appropriate ratings and a swim test can check out club kayaks for trips on Lake Mendota.
